The story behind the author

The author is a retired US Air Force Master Sergeant. Much of his writing is taken from personal experiences while serving with the military in such locations as Bermuda, Iceland, Saudi Arabia, Hawaii, Europe, plus the Middle and Far East. Karl and his wife now reside on the Gulf Coast of Texas where Karl enjoys fishing and writing. They both enjoy traveling and have visited more than 100 countries, islands and possessions over the years. They especially enjoy cruises where Karl gathers many ideas and inspirations.

Karl began writing more than five years ago and has had several of his short stories published by the local newspaper. “Signs of Our Times” is his latest book and the first one selected for publication by Publish America, located in Frederick, MD.
